Interstate Batteries - Beware, no warranty on RV batteries
I bought interstate batteries for my RV a year ago. One of the filling ports was faulty, obviously a manufacturing fault.
The bottom of port was much smaller than normal so had a bubble over it, making it look full. By the time I realised that the cell was actually not full, the cell was damaged and had damaged other cells. Interstate were not interested. They said the deep cycle batteries no longer carried a warranty, because RVers did not look after them.
So beware, INTERSTATE DO NOT WARRANTY THEIR DEEP CELL RV BATTERIES.
This means that whether the batteries are faulty at purchase or not, Interstate will not replace them. I found that Cummins now makes deep cell batteries for cheaper than Interstate and they carry a warranty.
Reason of review: Warranty issue.
