Interstate Batteries in Mokena Illinois is definitely a place that you don't want to shop at Unless you are willing to deal with a group of incompetent, unprofessional, lack of customer caring company in the area. I have been purchasing batteries and supplies from this location for the last 15 years. This time I purchased $700 worth of motorhome Batteries.

Interstate Batteries had taken my previous batteries and had them tested to advise me on whether or not they were still a good battery. They had informed me that all for batteries were dead and I needed to purchase new ones. After purchasing 4 new ones I drove to my campsite only to find out that they did not give me back my battery cable post caps Which secure the cable to the post.

Needless to say my entire weekend was ruined. When I left a message regarding the missing items from my old batteries nobody returned a phone call. I showed up two days later and was confronted by the owner's son approached me with the I don't give a *** attitude towards me. He did not like the Fact I left a heated message on his business phone. He also didn't like the fact I raised my voice due to the lack of his care.

His exact words were and I "you should of removed those items before giving us The battery. The fact that it was my responsibility to make sure all of the cables and Nuts were removed from the old Battery. He didn't care about the fact that he took all 4 batteries from me to test them to see whether or not they were still good. I now will question the fact on whether or not the $700 in new batteries I purchased were truly something I needed.

I guess I'll never know for sure. The one thing I know for sure I will never conducts business at that location again.

I'm dumbfounded by the lack of customer care or even an apology of what they did and how it ruined my entire travel weekend.

Location: 8736, 8500 W 191st St #9, Mokena, IL 60448, USA

Sorry to hear about your experience with the Interstate Battery dealer, not right and he obviously needs CS training. I have a motor home myself that requires 4 batteries.

Mine went dead a couple of years ago so I took it to the local Interstate store for replacement. After checking by the mechanic I was told that only one of the batteries was bad, some short or something, and the others could just be charged, would be fine.

Good thing I ran into an honest dealership, it has been 2 years now and no other battery problems. Honestly I was told it would be extremely rare that all four batteries would be bad at the same time, rather one causing the problem and draining the other batteries.
